A horrible place!!!

Only great thing about this one is the privacy as barely anyone goes to this dive.

Hotel rates at a cut rate motel, 125/night. The place looks good on the outside but inside looks like it hasn't changed in 50 years. Mattresses feel like that as well. Toilet tank drips and there's a garbage can there collecting water which is just about full

Its not the greatest but the rooms are bug free and the sheets are clean.

After staying out too late and enjoying the evening at Smith Point beach, I looked for a place to stay the night. I had the misfortune of happening upon Smith Point motel. Arriving late at night I didn't notice the abandoned dirty toilets, soiled mattresses, filth and debris in the parking lot. Slightly tipsy I half heard something about maintenance but after sleeping on a lumpy mattress with the springs poking me all night, a flat pillow, rough soiled towels, dirt and hair on the bathroom floor and the toilet not working and blood spatters on the shower wall, I quickly sobered. I exited the room and quickly realized as I walked to the office, this is a welfare hotel/ a residence!!! When I complained to the desk clerk, I was returned $20 of the $106 I'd paid for the unsanitary room. She then relayed my complains to who I later found out was the owner. This little fellow came from a back room and cursed and yelled at me arcoss the parking lot in front of the a small crowd of people assembling to watch the commotion.

My advice to anyone passing this place...DRIVE FAST!! DONT STAY HERE!! #THANKGODIDONTHAVEBEDBUGS!!

My first experiences was very nice, but the following experience not so much. My boyfriend was temporarily living there, and the lady who owns it had him kicked out the following day. Knowing i was pregnant, brought them business, to be closer to him in the event i needed to go to the hospital, and she still had him thrown out. My question is if I am paying for my own room and he checks in on me periodically its a problem, but there are people actively doing drugs in the parking lot and that's ok...please explain to me that logic.
